German Verb Haben To Have — Conjugation and Past Tense Use

`Haben (to have) is the second verb to master. Present: ich habe, du hast, er/sie/es hat, wir haben, ihr habt, sie/Sie haben. The bonus: haben also forms the Perfekt (past tense) with a past participle. "Ich habe gegessen" = I have eaten / I ate. "Wir haben gespielt" = We played. Two verbs for the price of one — master haben and unlock both present and past tense.
